Welcome to the official page for the Australasian Martial Arts Hall of Fame (Inc) (AMAHOF) Gala 2026, a landmark celebration marking 30 years of honouring excellence, preserving tradition, and recognising the individuals who have shaped martial arts across Australasia.
All daytime activities, including the Sokeship Council meeting, AGM, and seminars, will take place at ☀️ Batman’s Hill on Collins, conveniently located in Melbourne’s CBD.
This year’s Gala Dinner will be held at the iconic 🌒 Arts Centre Melbourne, located in the heart of the city’s world‑renowned Arts Precinct. With its striking architecture, premier performance spaces, and proximity to the Yarra River, the venue offers an unforgettable setting for this milestone event.

- Special Guest Seminar (AMAHOF sponsored standalone event)
- 9:00am – 11:00am: Master-level Guest Sessions
- 11:00am – 1:00pm: Special Guest Seminar featuring Benny ‘The Jet’ Urquidez (with individual photos after)
- Participants are requested to stay back to break down and close up
- Special Guest Seminar (AMAHOF sponsored standalone event)
Attendance at the AGM, seminars, and Gala Dinner is required for induction into AMAHOF.

The 30th Anniversary Black‑Tie Gala Dinner and Awards Presentation held at the 🌒 Melbourne Arts Centre will be one of the most significant in AMAHOF’s history. Join us for an evening featuring:
- Inductions: Celebrate individuals whose lifelong dedication has advanced martial arts across Australasia.
- Showcases & Workshops: Experience demonstrations and practical sessions led by new inductees and senior practitioners. Note: guests attending the Gala Dinner who want to attend the seminars will have to pay to participate in the Saturday and Sunday sessions.

- Dining & Entertainment: Enjoy a three‑course dinner, live entertainment, and the excitement of our annual raffle.

Yes, the Gala ticket this year has increased commensurate with the costs of organising the gala, however hotel prices in August typically provide excellent rates that will result in savings for anyone attending.
