NOMINEE APPLICATION PACK – 2026 AWARDS
Applications for 2026 Awards close on 31st March 2026
This year we are replacing the “Continual Excellence and Service to the Australasian Martial Arts Community” induction category with a revised batch of categories that hark back to a previous set that allow candidates to be inducted based on their contribution to the Art they practice.
The new categories slightly raise the minimum induction requirements to ensure that AMAHOF member are considered by the Martial Arts community and the Public to be the elite practitioners in the Australasian region.
Award recipients in these new categories will have made significant contributions to the development of martial arts and have achieved a minimum rank of 4th Dan or its equivalent and higher in their chosen martial art.
These exceptional individuals not only maintain a consistently high-level of performance as martial artists or excel as instructors or both and will have demonstrated extensive experience, skill, knowledge, effective administration, and exemplary leadership qualities.
To this end we have developed the following 5 categories for nomination.
- AMAHOF Exemplary Martial Artist
- AMAHOF Exemplary Instructor
- AMAHOF Dedicated Practitioner
- AMAHOF Martial Arts Ambassador
- AMAHOF Martial Arts Legacy (Posthumous or Enduring Contribution)
An explanation of the requirements for each category can be found at the end of the Nomination form. Feel free to contact either the President or Secretary for clarification on the Nomination process.
While each gala event may have its own unique arrangements, the Inductee Nomination Fee covers: your Gala dinner and workshop tickets, an AMAHOF plaque, a WKUHOF plaque, AMAHOF Induction Certificates, a special HOF ring to show off your recognition, induction year membership, professional photos taken at your gala, and a profile page on the AMAHOF website.

THIS AWARD IS PRESENTED IN PERSON AT AN AMAHOF PRESENTATION AWARDS GALA. Applications will be accepted until 31st March 2026.
