Inducted into WKUHOF for 2021 – Continual Excellence and Service to the Australasian Martial Arts Community

Kyoshi Benjamin Pollet’s mission is to teach all his students to live the way of Bushido, to help them find their inner strength, to be brave, courageous and disciplined, maintaining respect, to live an honourable, happy and spiritual life and remain humble.

Kyoshi Benjamin runs professional accredited grading systems in four different martial arts disciplines, Okinawan Karate, Okinawan Kobudo, Muay Thai and Kempo Jiu Jitsu. Black Belt students grades in Okinawan Karate and Kobudo are registered under the World Okinawan Karate and Kobudo Association in Okinawa and Muay Thai grades are registered by the Royal Thai Government in Thailand.

When he is away from the dojo Kyoshi Benjamin enjoys being out in nature and spending time with animals. He is a keen fisherman and loves to spend time on the ocean. As well as spending time with family and loved ones, he loves to travel, experiencing different foods and talking with people of different cultures – learning about their traditions and beliefs. God and Spirit being his main passion and learning about different ancient medicines, consciousness and the spiritual evolution of man.

Working to help his community is especially important and Kyoshi Benjamin is deeply passionate about helping people in need. Kyoshi Benjamin organises fundraisers and events to help many people of his community. Recently he has raised money for Housing Plus to help people living on the streets get a home, food and basic necessities that others often take for granted. He has also worked with ZOE Australia to help raise awareness for Human Trafficking and Child Protection.
