He travels to Japan each year to continue his development in the the arts and to receive instruction which has been arranged by Sensei Lawrence. He continues to teach iaido and jodo and more recently Kyudo at Pine Mountain north of Ipswich and continues to work with Japan society of Queensland preforming demonstrations of kendo, iaido and Jodo.
