Daniel King started Martial Arts in 1986 in the San Chi Kai system under the instruction of Kaicho Mal Lomax. Over the next 5 years he achieved a 1st degree black belt and became a Bushido warrior in the system.

About half way through his learning, Kaicho introduced him to Ma Chung Lama Pei, a Tibetan system of Kung Fu. So he started training in both systems of Martial Arts with Kaicho/Sifu Mal. After he obtained his 1st degree in San Chi Kai he solely concentrated on Lama Kung fu.

After about 4 and a half years he obtained his Black Sash (one of only 4 people to do so in Lama) and became a Yamabushi in the Mal Lomax System of Martial Arts. He continued his training with Mal and soon started running his Kung Fu classes. After about 3 or 4 years of this Sifu Mal awarded him with a Red Sash and he became a Master of Ma Chung Lama Pei.
Daniel still teaches and trains under the eyes of Mal on the Gold Coast where they have a small but very strong group of Kung Fu students. Over the years Daniel has competed in a number of Martial Arts Tournaments where he has won a handful (or maybe two handful’s) of Events. He has also received numerous awards within the Mal Lomax Systems for both San Chi Kai and Ma Chung Lama Pei.
